Event Note

PYWELL:  The death occurred at his residence, Luskintyre recently, of John
Pywell at the age of 64 years.  Deceased was a native of the Lower Hunter
and spent all his life in some portion of it.  For 20 years he farmed at
Tarro, then later at Millers Forest, and during the past 11 years, he has
resided at Luskintyre.  Deceased was of a very quiet and orderly disposition
and was esteemed by those who knew him well.  He reared a large family, 11
of whom survie him.  Fred and Les (Jack) Pywell of Raymond Terrace, Charles,
Allan and Hector Pywell of Luskintyre and Thomas Pywell of Sydney.  His
daughters are Mrs. Sherlock of Sydney, Mrs. Whyborn of Singleton, Mrs.
Cleary of Armidale and Misses Gladys and Dorothy Pywell of Luskintyre.  The
late Mr. Pywell had practically been an invalid for the past 18 years.  The
funeral was a lengthy one, the deceased being interred at Lochinvar C of E
cemetery, the Rev. Brown officiating.
