Narrative

James Bryant had to sign Gertrude Mary's birth certificate with an X because he couldn't write
He had a brother? called Louis who went to Chicago/Montreal/Canada. Denis said they used to get cards from someone in Canada whom he thought was a close relative. There is a postcard from him (Louis) in the postcard album.
He was a warder in a prison camp in the first world war in Dorchester, (No 1 Hut). There is a picture of him in the album in uniform.
